Presentations (Oral Talks & Graphical Abstracts)The focus of the Lett Symposium is research done by Dalhousie Biology graduate students. Accordingly, graduate students from all Dalhousie Biology Streams are invited to give oral or poster presentations on their current research. There will be several oral presentation sessions throughout the day of the symposium. There will also be one poster session.
Instructions: PRE-RECORDED ORAL PRESENTATION: Pre-recorded oral video presentations will be 10 minutes each, and will be shared on the day of the conference, followed by a 3-minute live Q&A session. Further details and tips on how to create your video will be provided to all video presenters. GRAPHICAL ABSTRACT: In lieu of a poster session, students are encouraged to create a graphical abstract, which will be available to be viewed on our conference web page. A graphical abstract is a single-panel visual that gives the reader an immediate understanding of the take-home message of the study.
