Posted by Melanie Massey We had a blast at our 2021 graduate retreat at the beautiful Deanery Project. Thanks to Megan Roberts and Scott Pollara (chef extraordinaire) for organizing such an amazing trip! (Also special thanks to Brent for his delicious apple crumble!)

Posted by Melanie Although we faced many challenges in 2020-2021 (the year of the pandemic!), we are so grateful to the BOGS Executives that worked hard to make this year a success. Here is a video highlighting some of our favourite events and thanking the team! Posted by MelanieWe had a great time at this year's Lett Symposium! Although the event was online due to the pandemic, we were still able to connect with one another virtually and celebrate our incredible department as a community. A special thanks to Dr. Anne Dalziel, who gave an impressive and inspiring keynote talk!
This year's Lett Symposium was organized by Kayla Hamelin (our fearless committee leader!), Melanie Massey, Laura Steeves, and Manuelle Beaudry-Sylvestre. We thank Loay Jabre for moderating, as well as all of our judges, prize winners, and audience members. Hope to see you all next year, maybe even in person? We created this virtual bulletin board to share news and highlights from our department. These can include publications, outreach work, a great talk you gave, an award you won, or any achievements you or your peers have done! If you would like to submit content for our blog, email Melanie at [email protected] to have your achievement highlighted!
Please include: A fun title! A summary of your paper or achievement. You can be as detailed as your want (or not!) A visual to go along with it (if possible!) We are looking forward to keeping our bulletin board updated with the amazing achievements of our students! |
